1975
Looking back we had everything, except for the love I wasted my time, I bent over backwards
It wasn't enough
Found a nigga I'd probably die for if he didn't demand it Looking back damn near killed myself
Found myself lost in someone else
But I pushed through all my fears, yeah
I could be a new nigga next week
I should cut this boy off at the knees
I push through all my fears, yeah
Think I hear a new sound on the dance floor Think I found a new man that's gon give me more Cause it's not what it was
It's what it became
I lost all respect, I couldn't play the game
Y'all niggas insane
Stop playing with my name yeah
Let me sit your ass down for a minute babe Maybe you could listen
Imma sit your ass down for a minute babe Maybe you could learn something
All y'all see is an unruly nigga
Ain't shit now but watch me do it bigger
I'm so cold guarantee I'm a sinner
I walk through the halls like I'm god, do it bigger yeah So lemme sit your ass down for a minute babe Maybe you could learn something
Imma sit your ass down for minute man
Maybe you could earn something
Yeah, fuck I look like?
Need a nigga to ride me like all night
If he beg for the dick then it's his right
I ain't standing in the way for him, yeah
Fuck I look like?
Need a nigga to ride me like all night
If he beg for the dick then it's his right
I ain't standing in the way for him, yeah
These niggas can't handle themselves
They pulling the ranks for themselves
I put that pressure on everything
I swear it makes me a better man
These niggas can't handle themselves
They pulling the ranks for themselves
I put that pressure on everything
I swear it makes me a better man
And I pushed through all my fears, yeah I could be a new nigga next week
I should cut this boy off at the knees
I pushed through all my fears
Think I hear a new sound on the dance floor Think I found a new man that gon give me more Fuck it up, yeah
These niggas can't handle themselves They pulling the ranks for themselves
I put that pressure on everything
I swear it makes me a better man
These niggas can't handle themselves They pulling the ranks for themselves
I put that pressure on everything
I swear it makes me a better man
I didn't get it right, but I believed it
And I'll do it any time, even though you're not mine I didn't get it right, but I believed it
These niggas they crying for help
Don't know what to do with themselves I put that pressure on anything
I swear it makes me a better man
Love this so much! DDIN is talent that will continue to go places. Honestly couldn't choose just one favorite track - everything in this dark atmospheric fairly tale land of an album sounds amazing and should really be listened to as a whole. Don't sleep on this! Anna
Dani Lee Pearce's Spider Mountain is a truly excellent album. Every song on it is wonderful, and "Destined Not For Land" is incredible. Absolutely worth listening to, and very powerful. Kamani
